MCC CHAPEL - We would like to invite you to join us for chapel at Maritime Christian College on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.  This semester we will be working through the book of Exodus. CANOE COVE Christian Camp Work Day is Saturday, October 21st, starting at 9 A.M.  Lunch will be served. Whatever time you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Fall and Winter YARD SALE will be held at the Eastern Kings Community Center on Saturday, October 21st 9 am - 1 pm. Lennon House - a facility which offers support for a person living with or recovering from mental health issues or substance abuse. Reserve October 22, 2017 for a fund raising concert by donation at St. Mary's Hall from 2-4 pm Community support greatly appreciated.

TEN THOUSAND VILLAGES is coming back to the Souris area!  This year's sale will be held on October 20-21 in Souris (stay tuned for location).  This is a great opportunity to do some Christian shopping while helping to support artisans in the developing world. There is truly something for everyone.... coffee and food items, home decor and kitchen, toys, Christmas decorations, baskets, pottery... and so much more!  We are looking for volunteers!!  If you are able to help set up or take down, we can put you to work!  If you are interested in helping, or if you have any questions, please contact Mary Ellen O'Brien at 902 327 0031.

St. Columba Roast Beef Dinner - Sunday, October 22nd 4-6 pm Adults: $12; 12 and under: $6; Preschoolers: free

Sunday Brunch will he held on Sunday, October 29th at the Eastern Kings Community Center 10:30 am -12:30 pm.  Adults: $7; Students: $5; Preschoolers: free. This is a community center fundraiser. A full breakfast of eggs, sausage, beans, pancakes, biscuits and fruit will be served.

The Annual Mary & Martha Auxiliary "BRING and BUY" at Maritime Christian College will be held on Saturday, November 4th 2017. Lunch at 12 noon and auction at 12:30 pm. Christmas decorations & gifts, homemade jams and pickles, crafts, baked goods, fellowship, laughter and great bargains.

Camp Seggie is hosting their Second Annual Father & Son BBQ. Boys age 6 and up along with their dads, grandfathers, mentors, brothers, coach or an older guy friend are invited to an awesome day of fun out at Camp.  There will be Archery, Tag, Dodgeball, Bonfire and Manly Wisdom from speaker Bill Dean. The Annual Meeting of Canoe Cove Christian Camp Inc., will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 3:00 pm. at the camp. All who have an interest in the camp and ministry are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.

Island Pregnancy Centre Silent Auction Donation Request:  The Island Pregnancy Centre is in the process of preparing for the Annual Silent Auction and Dessert Night fundraiser. Right now, the staff and volunteers of the Island Pregnancy Center are gathering items to place in the auction. They are accepting donations of artwork, handmade kn its, gift certificates, baked goods, business merchandise as well as a variety of other items.
